In collaboration with MIT-CTL and Latin American University Partners, CLI will host several doctoral level educational activities. These include:
- International Doctoral Student Exchange – PhD students from MIT-CTL, ZLC, University Partners and elsewhere will be hosted at CLI as part of their educational activity. During their stay, they will continue their doctoral work, engage in collaborative research with CLI Research staff and interact with industry partners.
- Doctoral Colloquium – MIT-CTL will foster an annual doctoral colloquium to be hosted at CLI. During this Colloquium PhD students and their advisors from all over the world will visit CLI for concentrated sessions of collaborative work in the area of logistics and supply chain. CLI researchers, University Partners and industry partners will be invited to participate on this exchange.
- Interaction with GC-LOG students. During the summer session, doctoral activities will be scheduled to allow GC-LOG students to interact with PhD students enabling exchange of ideas as well as introducing GC-LOG students to world class research.
- CLI Co-Advising. CLI Research Staff will be encouraged to participate in Doctoral Committees throughout the CLI network and elsewhere. This will not only enhance the quality of research at CLI but also will establish CLI as a center of excellence.
- Doctoral Seminars. CLI Research staff will be encouraged to offer doctoral seminars in the area of logistics and supply chain. Innovative virtual technologies will be tested to engage University Partners and other institutions through out the world.
